Annie DeAngelo
Wilderness Steward Program Organizer
Annie loves a good adventure, big or small. Whether a self-support whitewater SUP trip, a search for soft snow, a backpacking trip with a gourmet menu, a day at the crag or anything else, Annie is (almost always) game. A lifelong learner, Annie spent the first decade of her career teaching, spending the school year as a classroom teacher and the summers as an outdoor educator for National Geographic and NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School). Since retiring from the classroom, Annie has shifted her focus to the outdoors. Annie loves spending time outside with others and helping people develop the skills to become lifelong outdoor lovers. She loves the Wilderness areas surrounding the Wood River Valley and is excited to work to help protect them. When not out on adventures, you can find her in Ketchum with her wife, Toria, and their dog, Xander.
