Camp Bay Station

ICL started monitoring the Camp Bay station in 2023, in response to development pressures. At least 27 new luxury estates are planned for the area, along with a new community sewer system. The sewer system will likely be placed in an area that also has known surface water. Eight of the luxury estate lots are along the shoreline, and several are already under construction. All of this adds up to potential impacts to water quality, so our water quality stewards are working to assess the water quality now to better understand any impacts in the future.
