Sand Creek Station

A hot spot for recreation, Sand Creek runs through Sandpoint before entering into Lake Pend Oreille. We began monitoring this station in 2023 as the City of Sandpoint began planning for waterfront improvements. 

Lined by walking paths, restaurants, and even Highway 200, there are many possibilities for pollution to enter Sand Creek. By monitoring it now, we hope to detect any pollution before it becomes problematic.
