Official Legislative Site

House Bill 458 was introduced by Rep. Monica Church (D-Boise) to protect schoolchildren from the risk of radon, mold and lead. The bill adds requirements, for existing annual inspections, to test for these toxins and requires abatement and retesting.

ICL supports clean air, whether it is outdoors, in a home, or in a school. HB 468 would improve the air quality and the safety of Idaho’s schoolchildren. Many of Idaho’s schools are old and in need of significant repairs. We believe that Idaho’s children deserve and need a safe and healthy environment to succeed.
