Jesse Murphy

Jesse grew up in McCall, an ideal location where his family could spend their free time adventuring in the outdoors. Those escapades opened the door for him to pursue competitive kayaking, a passion that turned into an early profession and fortified his foundational respect for the environment and public lands.

He was a three-time U.S. Freestyle Kayak Team member, placed 7th at the 2003 Freestyle Kayaking World Championships and was the 2001 Freestyle Kayaking Junior World Champion.

He has a M.B.A. from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder, as well as a B.A. in communications and a B.A. in Spanish from UC Davis. He has spent years leading global and national marketing programs for companies such as Red Bull, Clarivate, Albertsons Companies and others. Currently, he is a Director of Marketing for UnitedLex and also an active Idaho real estate agent.

Based in Boise, Jesse runs off to the mountains to ski, mountain bike or float Idaho’s rivers with his wife, Kate, and four-legged best friend, Adi, as often as possible.
