I’m excited to introduce ICL’s newest community engagement associate, Emily Cleveland, who recently joined our North Idaho team.
Originally from Colorado, Emily has always stayed close to the mountains. After getting a degree in geology at Colorado College, she moved to Wyoming and began exploring the Tetons by ski, bike and boat. She continued her education at Teton Science School and the University of Wyoming, earning a dual master’s in natural science education and environment and natural resources. Emily has a background in field research ranging from fire history in the Tetons to a wilderness character inventory in southwest Montana. Emily most recently served as a wildlands field coordinator for the Montana Wilderness Association, in Bozeman, Mont.
In her new capacity with ICL, Emily is responsible for organizing events, conducting outreach to members and raising money. She looks forward to getting to know the communities of North Idaho and exploring the region’s wild places.
