Hello everyone! My name is Haley Robinson and I am excited to join the Idaho Conservation League this fall as ICL’s development assistant. If you keep up with ICL news, you may recognize me-I was one of ICL’s 2017 summer interns! I had such a great experience that I decided to apply and was lucky enough to be invited back as staff.
Yellowstone National Park was where my passion for the outdoors first ignited. Growing up close to the park in Eastern Idaho, I was fortunate to visit Yellowstone regularly as a kid. The dynamic wildlife, unique geologic features and beautiful scenery enthralled me. I loved it so much that I even worked in the park for a summer during college.
My professional background is in communications and marketing. I graduated from Boise State University with an undergraduate degree in mass communications, journalism, and public relations. After graduation, I began working full-time at Boise State as a marketing coordinator. This became a great opportunity to learn about branding and how to tell the story of an organization. While working at the university, I also earned my master’s degree in environmental and natural resource policy. Joining ICL as a development assistant will allow me to unite my passion for communications with my love of the outdoors.
I am excited to meet the rest of the ICL community and eager to get to know our donors and supporters. I look forward to being part of telling the ICL story and connecting with our community in meaningful ways. Stop by and say hi if you are in the neighborhood!
