David’s family is from Idaho, and he spent lots of time in southeast Boise before moving there 9 years ago. “I am always amazed at how beautiful it is here,” David says. David enjoys spending time taking in that beauty outdoors; hiking and biking rank high on his list of hobbies.
David also values community involvement, like volunteering and other activities. He was first introduced to the Idaho Conservation League through Government Relations Director Jonathan Oppenheimer and his family. Through their conversations, David learned about the full breadth of ICL’s work, as well as the importance and benefits of having a voice for conservation in the statehouse. David was able to go morel hunting with Jonathan, an avid morel hunter with amazing tips and secret spots, and that convinced him to become a member.
“I’m happy to add my name to the long list of supporters. I love the physical landscapes, the beauty of mountains, the Boise River, and the foothills, not to forget the people I have met. I hope our politicians will work to keep Idaho wild and wonderful,” David says, “I support ICL and its mission to preserve and protect the natural resources and landscapes of Idaho. I would encourage everyone to get involved, to learn about ICL, and support its goals.”
