In late August, shortly after Pres. Barack Obama signed the Boulder-White Clouds wilderness bill into law, a hardy group of folks from ICL, the Idaho Trails Association, and U.S. Forest Service hiked into Idaho’s new wilderness area to do a week of trail maintenance. This work was done the old-fashioned way since power tools are restricted from wilderness areas. On the trail crew was ICL Artist in Residence Peter Lovera, whose appreciative eye feasted on the beauty he found there.
